R.C.P stands for Rust · CE · Portal. A web-based admin tool built specifically for Rust Console Edition server owners. It gives you a portal to manage your servers — kits, casino, shop, broadcasts, kill feed, ZORP, and more — without installing plugins or running a Discord bot yourself.

No. We connect via RCON (enabled by default on most G-Portal-hosted servers). No plugins, no Oxide, no SSH. As long as RCON is reachable, we work.

Any host that exposes RCON. G-Portal is the most common for RCE servers and works out of the box. Other hosts work too, as long as you can supply IP, port, and password.

In G-Portal: Settings → RCON. Copy the password (and note the port — usually different from the game port). Paste into R.C.P when adding your server. See Connect a server for details.

Yes. Cancel from your dashboard. Servers run until the end of the current billing period, then revert to read-only (no data loss — you can reactivate any time).

Stored for up to 90 days after cancellation or account inactivity. If you reactivate within that window, everything is restored. After 90 days, data is permanently deleted per GDPR.

Players visit the player portal, sign in with Discord OAuth, and generate a code. They join your server and open Quick Chat → Orders → “Here, take this…”. The bot pairs them and replies in chat. They confirm with Quick Chat → Responses → “Yes” and they're linked. Two button presses on the controller. No typing 6-digit codes.

No. R.C.P features are opt-in. Players who don't link Discord still play normally — they just can't earn RCP coins, use the shop, or play minigames. Your server's core gameplay is unchanged for them.

The in-game currency for the casino, shop, and minigames. Players earn coins by playing on your server (passive playtime plus daily streak bonus). You can also grant coins manually as rewards (event prizes, donations, etc.).

One Discord account can be linked to one in-game player at a time. Switching is allowed, but coins reset to 0 and a 24h cooldown applies — this discourages farming via alts.

RCON traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS WebSocket). Your RCON password is stored encrypted at rest. Only you, as the account owner, can view or modify connection info.

The bot auto-reconnects with exponential backoff. Live polling and event detection resume within 30 seconds of the server coming back online. Reconnect attempts are visible in the BOT STATUS pill on every page.

The portal itself uses a REST API internally. Public API access for third-party integrations is on the roadmap for late 2026. Let us know on Discord what you'd want to build with it.

We target 99.9%. Live status page: /status — bot uptime, error counts and live server stats. The portal and bot run on separate infrastructure, so a bot outage doesn't take the portal down.

Every broadcast — welcome, kill feed (separate PvP / PvE), event triggers (Bradley, Heli, etc.), jackpot announcements, scheduled — is a template with placeholders and Rust color tags. See features.

Yes. Kill feed, leaderboards, and big-win broadcasts can be sent to your Discord channel via webhook. Discord channel integrations are configured per server in the bot settings tab.

Yes. We use the zones.createcustomzone RCON command (RCE-native) plus our team-tracking system. Players use the “Can I build here?” quick-chat emote to request, confirm with “Yes”, and the bot creates the zone from the team's player positions. One ZORP per team.
